Synopsis:
Electrify Your Speaking is a two-day intensive designed to help professionals communicate with greater confidence, clarity, and presence in high-stakes settings. Combining methodologies drawn from leading performance-training institutions with established business communication frameworks, the programme introduces participants to an embodied preparation process used by actors, thought leaders, and senior executives.
Led by Petrina Kow and Noah Drew, the intensive brings together more than 50 years of combined experience across executive communication, voice and speech training, performance practice and higher education. Together, they have coached C-suite leaders, professional speakers, and award-winning performers, drawing on methodologies taught in leading universities and conservatories around the world. The result is a practical, repeatable approach to speaking that helps participants move from anxiety and self-consciousness towards grounded, effective delivery.
This programme is tailored for leaders, professionals, and decision-makers who know their ideas matter, and want to speak with greater impact when presenting, pitching, leading meetings, or addressing an audience. Rather than relying on surface-level performance tips, the training focuses on helping participants build authentic vocal presence, regulate stress, and communicate with conviction under pressure.
Across the two days, participants will learn a preparation system rooted in somatic intelligence and professional performance practice, including Fitzmaurice Voicework® warm-up techniques to access greater vocal power and authenticity, Somatic Experiencing-informed tools to regulate the nervous system before high-pressure moments, and frameworks for shaping clear, compelling communication. The intensive also aims to cultivate a more resilient and agile mindset that participants can apply beyond public speaking.
Designed as an interactive and experiential training, the intensive includes movement, breathwork, speaking exercises, and guided interaction in a small-group setting to allow for individual attention, personalised coaching, and hands-on practice.
