Synopsis:
A book is a collection of recorded information, traditionally shaped by its content, format, and purpose. Featuring 8 works by 10 emerging artists working across graphic design, photography, textile, and creative technology, this exhibition challenges the assumption that visual representation is identical to the object it represents. By examining the book as a contested space, where boundaries between form and function blur, the artists propose alternative forms of the book, reinventing it as an ever-evolving medium. What if a book has no beginning or end? What is a book beyond pages and print? How can books continue to adapt and reassert its relevance in the contemporary moment?
