Join this talk as Dr Loh Kah Seng will share about conducting oral history interviews on his podcast channel, Chronicles of Old Singapore. While the interviews are published on YouTube and Spotify, they contain the stuff of people's history. His guests have reminisced about changes to places like kampongs, Chinatown and Sembawang, as well as their schools and working life. The podcasts are a historical record and have given people a public voice in the Singapore Story.
Dr Loh will also share tips on starting an oral history-based podcast. The talk is intended for young and old listeners alike.
