Synopsis:

Ever wondered what goes on in the making of an exhibition?

Join exhibition curators Gretchen Liu, Goh Yu Mei and Nadia Ramli for an insider's look at the creation of "Untold Stories: Four Singapore Artists' Quest for Inspiration in Bali 1952" exhibition.

"Untold Stories" brings to the life the seven-week adventure of four China-born Singapore artists – Liu Kang, Chen Chong Swee, Chen Wen Hsi and Cheong Soo Pieng – who travelled to Bali in 1952 in search of new artistic perspectives. It also traces how their artistic quest culminated in an iconic 1953 exhibition which left an enduring legacy in Singapore's art history.

The curators will share insights from their research and reveal interesting anecdotes and behind-the-scenes stories of the curatorial process.
