Synopsis:

The *SCAPE Street Art Residency Programme is now in its second iteration – a pioneering initiative committed to nurturing young and emerging street artists while celebrating the street art culture of Singapore.

This six-month residency, scheduled from July 2025 to January 2026, will feature six talented youth street artists. The programme aims to leave a lasting mark on Singapore's cultural landscape by focusing socially-driven themes, with the goal of inspiring meaningful community dialogue through socially-conscious murals.

Participants will take part in group discussions, participatory workshops, and interactive painting sessions designed to develop their critical thinking and artistic skills. The residency also offers resident artists the chance to collaborate with established artists through various *SCAPE and Somerset Belt programmes, gaining hands-on experience in creating street art. Throughout the programme, participants will receive mentorship from the local street art collective, RSCLS.

The residency will culminate in a two-part showcase, both of which are part of Singapore Art Week 2026:
