The third edition of Reflection returns in 2025!
Maya Gallery is proud to present Reflection 3, its first exhibition of the year, running from 22 February to 12 April 2025. As the world approaches Ramadan, a time of fasting and self-reflection, this exhibition invites us to pause, look inward, and reconnect—with faith, memory, and the relationships that define us.
Launched in 2021, the Reflection series continues its mission of exploring personal and collective journeys, offering a space for introspection, renewal, and dialogue. At the heart of Reflection 3 is the symbolism of three—a number representing balance, transformation, and harmony. This theme is brought to life through the works of three artist-couples:
• Fazelah Abas & Dino Hafian
• Suriani Suratman & Heiko Schulze
• Masturah Sha'ari & Jeffrey Wandly
Each pair presents a visual and emotional interplay—sometimes in contrast, sometimes in harmony—mirroring the way we navigate our relationships with ourselves, others, and the spaces we inhabit.
More than just an exhibition, Reflection 3 taps into the emotional and cultural significance of this season while offering universal themes of self-reflection, human connection, and artistic dialogue.
