Synopsis:

The YST Orchestral Institute, under the baton of guest conductor Ken Lam (Director of Orchestral Studies, The Tianjin Juilliard School & Resident Conductor, Tianjin Juilliard Orchestra), performs two of Sibelius's key works that have become symbols of Finnish pride and inspiration: Finlandia, best known for its message of national awakening amidst foreign domination; and his Second Symphony, which renewed hope for many with its heroic optimism and continues to inspire across time and space.
