Synopsis:
An exuberant outburst of hues will greet visitors when they step into group exhibition Kaleidoscope! Named after the Greek etymology of the word – Kalos (beauty), Eidos (form), and skopeo (to examine) – this group exhibition by 22 young artists is an exploration on colour theory and its many applications. With over 40 artworks on show, each with a unique take on colour (from the way it is perceived to the emotions it evoke), this exhibition is curated by John Tung and he welcomes all to attune to how artists with disabilities experience the world. This exhibition is complemented by a range of public programmes such as workshops (linocut printmaking and texture artmaking), tours and talks.
