Synopsis:
Chioh-Hui Goh, founding partner of Studiogoto, will share how architecture may holistically integrate various disciplines of design, context, and culture that eventually promote the identity of place. The talk will demonstrate the complete process of designing and construction using a recently built project as an example, and it will reflect the cross-cultural influences that help shape the final product.
About the Speaker
Chioh-Hui Goh graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture (Hons) in 1992 from NUS, winning himself the Distinction Award for Design within his graduating cohort. Before setting up Studiogoto, he had practiced Architecture for 16 years in several acclaimed Architecture practices in Singapore, most notably Akitek Tenggara II and SCDA Architects Pte Ltd. He led the design direction and implementation of numerous projects that eventually went on to win many Design Awards in both the local and International Architecture scenes.
