Synopsis:
Michelin-starred Nouri, situated one floor down from Appetite, hosts Spanish artist Carmen Ceniga Prado in exhibition Movement 1: Emergence from 10 January to 23 April 2023. The show features Carmen's work in exploring the internal body as a vast and mysterious space that encompasses emotions, sensations and energies, depicted through abstract painting.
Emergence marks the beginning of Nouri's year-long series of exhibitions, each lasting three months long, and has a focus on the processes of birth and emanation as the first stages of life. It also returns to the core of Crossroads Thinking in examining patterns of connection across time and geography.
