Synopsis:
Somerset Belt and its surroundings has seen many changes over the last 50 years with planned redevelopment still yet to happen. As we look toward these changes, we take stock of its current surroundings through the eyes of young local film photographers.
Somerset Film Snaps is a new initiative by OKB.sg, in collaboration with Hands On Film and Somerset Belt. Presenting a Medium Format Film Exhibition, Camera, Film & Art Market, Photographer Talks, and a Photowalk session to spread awareness towards the rise of film photography amongst the youths of Singapore.
Imagine the satisfying sound of a camera snap, and looking at a physical copy of your one-of-a-kind photograph; the grains in each unique image emphasises the beauty of each analogue moment, reminding us that we are perfect just the way we are.
