Arkib Negara Singapura mempunyai lebih dari 24,000 rekod audiovisual dalam bahasa Melayu. Kebanyakkan rekod-rekod ini merangkumi sejarah, sosio-budaya, politik dan evolusi ekonomi masyarakat Melayu Singapura. Mari bersama Pustakawan Kanan Mohamed Salim yang akan menjejak transformasi masyarakat Melayu Singapura dari awal tahun 1960 hingga sekarang, berdasarkan bahan-bahan arkib audiovisual yang ada.

Archives Unlocked: Transformation of Malay Community Through Stories from Audiovisual Archives

The National Archives of Singapore is home to more than 24,000 Malay-language audiovisual records. Most of these centre on the historical, socio-cultural, political and economic evolution of Singaporean Malays. Join Senior Librarian Mohamed Salim as he traces the transformation of the Malay community in Singapore from the early 1960s to today through selected Malay audiovisual records.

About the Speaker
Mohamed Salim is a Senior Librarian with the National Archives of Singapore. He works at the Audiovisual Archives, where he focuses on acquiring and preserving audiovisual material, including Malay audiovisual records.
