Synopsis:
It's been said that education is not a destination, but a (learning) journey of experiences and discovery. For this year's Teachers Day weekend, The Improv Company salute the pivotal people that have guided us through our lives - both inside and outside of the classroom! So tuck in your shirts, tie back your hair, and mark your attendance as we present this assembly of five first-class improv acts to entertain you with spontaneous storytelling!
'Improv' is short for 'improvisational theatre'. As the name implies, improv is a special form of theatre wherein no scripts are involved! The performers have to create their stories on the fly, sometimes with the help of their audience. This creates a unique experience where no two shows are the same, and both performers and audiences actively collaborate as part of the experience.
