PULSE Clinic, Asia's leading sexual healthcare provider, believes that a healthy society recognises and supports an individual's potential. To provide a platform for new and emerging contemporary artists in Southeast Asia and Hong Kong, PULSE Clinic has launched the inaugural PULSE Awards: The Art of Life, a competition for artists to submit their works based on the theme Sexual Health Matters.
Finalists will have their works exhibited at the new PULSE Art Gallery spaces in Bangkok. The selected works will be auctioned for the charity Foundation for Life. Fifty percent of the auction proceeds will be donated to the charity to support testing and treatment of individuals and communities that do not have access to financing. The remaining 50% of the monies raised will go to the artists. Additionally, two winners in their respective categories will win prize money.
Providing an opportunity for artists to showcase their talents through expressions of their thoughts and understanding of sexual health, PULSE Awards is open for residents (local and foreign) from the following countries:
Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Timor-Leste, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Artists must be either new or emerging contemporary visual artists. There is no entry fee.
Artists must be at least 18 years of age.
