Synopsis:

The Silver Generation, our elders, have a wealth of knowledge and experience. However, many of their tales and trials are either forgotten or deemed insignificant.

This workshop co-facilitated by Juriah Atan and Shalni Doshi aims to introduce activities to trigger the seniors' fond memories and encourage sharing their stories with family and friends. In addition to building better ties with their kith and kin, the hope is to give our seniors a renewed sense of confidence and relevance.

The aim of the workshop is to teach caregivers some tools to connect with the seniors they take care of or work with. Participants of this workshop are encouraged to come with their own stories, songs, rhymes, and games that they remember from their growing up years.

This workshop is suitable for those who would like to build greater connectedness with the elderly people in their care.
