Synopsis:

As part of the gallery's summer presentation, Cuturi Gallery is pleased to present a group exhibition showcasing an eclectic mix of artists, whose artistic practices span mixed media, sculpture and painting. Featured artists comprise Romain Bernini, Hubert Le Gall, Liu Ling, Gioele Amaro, Aisha Rosli, Darryl Westly, Gaël Davrinche, Tianbing Li, Delphine Rama, Lionel Sabatté and Odelia Tang.

The exhibition centres on presenting new works alongside previously exhibited works, in a bid to proffer fresh and alternative ways of seeing. Works that will be shown for the first time in the gallery space include Time is a Weight I Carry (2019) by Singaporean artist Odelia Tang, a mixed media work exploring the bodily presence in relation to the passage of time. In addition to Selfstanding Selfie (2020) by Italian artist Gioele Amaro embracing a digital reconsideration toward the traditional medium of painting, and Space Shuttle (2020) by Belgian artist Delphine Rama drawing inspiration from the convergence of fashion and architecture. Through this collective presentation, The Summer Show looks to revisit existing forms of interpretations and encourage new modes of contemplation surrounding the works on display.
