Synopsis:
Whether it is to surround oneself amidst nature, make new friends, try new cuisines, understand another culture or take beautiful photographs, travelling can inspire us and broaden our perspectives. Through travel literature, readers are offered a glimpse into another country sights and sceneries and an opportunity to embark on an imaginative journey guided by the writer's personal experiences. In this panel discussion moderated by Yang Yiying, writers Lee Chuan Low and Wing Chong will examine how travel literature captures the relationship between life and travel and share how new writers can use their travels as the basis for new works. Conducted in Mandarin.
人生很长，很容易将日子过得莫名空白，旅游可以激发人生，开扩眼界，增加生活的花彩和知识。讲座由李选楼和温昌主讲，杨宜颖主持和对谈。三位作者将展示大量风景与人文图片，讲述旅游与人生。不论旅游的目的是融入大自然、结交朋友、品尝美食、认识人文、拍摄美景，旅游文学对他乡异地风景的描绘和抒怀，体现的都是人生与旅游的关系。讲述旅游文字的抒写。旅游文学具有固定的文体，以第一视角叙述。作家在创作旅游文章时，必须要有热情、激情和感动，才能将旅途中的所遇所见做生动的描述。现代的社会生活具有场所不定性特点，为了生活，许多人旅居他乡，在一些文学作品如小说中，也常见到他国场景的描写。讲座的目的，除了讲述旅游的乐趣，也鼓励人们多以旅游经历为内容，从事旅游文学创作。
