Synopsis:

While Charmaine Leung revisits her formative years on Keong Saik Road in the 1970s when it was a prominent red-light precinct in Singapore's Chinatown, we see Keong Saik through the eyes of Koon (Happy Jade), a young girl growing up in Chinatown during the 1940s. Through the parallelled lives of two young girls, growing up in the shophouses of 15A and 17A Keong Saik Road across different periods in time, we see the changing face of Keong Saik, and the challenges faced by women trying to make a living for themselves.
