We are pleased to announce Shahar Binyamini's week-long Gaga and Repertoire workshop for professional dancers and advanced dance students in Singapore, 24-28 February 2020.
Shahar Binyamini is no stranger to Singapore. After creating several dance pieces with Frontier Danceland in the last five years he has decided to design a dedicated workshop for dancers, recent graduates, and advanced dance students who desire to increase their perception of Binyamini's repertoire and Gaga movement expertise.
The workshop will start with a Gaga class in order to prepare both body and mind for a creative day in the studio dancing. Straight after class, dancers will be guided in a repertoire session learning different sections of PARADISO, created for Frontier Danceland in 2018 (video link below). This workshop is perfect for those looking to take Gaga class for five consecutive days, whilst learning a professional repertoire dance piece. It's also the moment to develop dance and performance skills deep-diving in a nurturing and creative space. Each day will finish with an improvisation session as well as a networking space to meet like-minded dancers. The last afternoon of the workshop will include an informal presentation session in the studio. Shahar is looking forward to welcoming dancers from all over Asia. He has created choreography for companies across Singapore, Japan and South Korea and this is the opportunity to connect with dancers in the studio across a dedicated week of training and learning.
