Synopsis:

Singaporeans are known to be foodies, but what we eat is often about more than pleasing our tastebuds or filling the belly. Food is often about family, culture, relationships, tradition, tied to our sense of comfort and familiarity (or unfamiliarity!). And when we travel, new tastes and ingredients open incredible vistas. In this workshop, we explore our relationship with a particular food culture, dish or ingredient and reflect on its role and significance in our lives, or a period of our life. For anyone who has ever felt passionately about food, this is for you. Come prepared for a thought-inspiring, tasty session!
