Synopsis:
Spoke & Bird is a monthly poetry open mic night which features local and international poets, writers, performers, storytellers and the occasional musician.
This month, we are super excited to welcome Hamid Roslan, the incredibly talented author of one of the most exciting debut poetry collections of 2019, parsetreefire!
POETRY OPEN MIC:
Will run as usual with 12 5-minute slots available. Each open mic-er will be given 5 minutes to perform any number of poems. Email spokeandbird [at] gmail.com for a spot!

Hamid Roslan's work may be found in The Volta, Asymptote, and the Quarterly Literary Review Singapore, among others. parsetreeforestfire (Ethos Books, 2019) is his debut poetry collection.
