Synopsis:

Single Mothers is a new play written by Dwayne Ng, depicting the lives of three women, Kar Leng, Sunitha, and Jessica.

Kar Leng is a mother of three middle-aged daughters with her youngest still unmarried. Coping with the pressures of marriage and child-bearing, she battles with the impending loneliness if her last daughter chooses to move out of the family home.

After her husband's death, Sunitha finds that her relationship with her son has been irreparably altered. When her plans to remarry surfaces, she is called to make her most difficult decision of all—to choose between her love for her partner and her love for her son.

Upon learning of her pregnancy, Jessica was thrown out of her house and jilted by her boyfriend. Stuck in limbo, she must navigate the world around her, sacrificing something one choice at a time.

What does it mean to be a mother? What will these mothers give up in the name of love for their children?
