Synopsis:

As Singapore marks its Bicentennial year, the question of how we see ourselves as a nation is brought to fore, provoking a re-evaluation of the narratives we create to project ourselves, now and in the future.

Completing a trilogy of plays inspired by the 1977 Voyagers launch that carried two golden records deep into space, The Golden Record 3.0 builds on the many Singaporean voices that contributed to the previous iteration, focusing on the ideas of identity, time, art and faith.

With Cultural Medallion recipient Mrs Santha Bhaskar's words now orbiting the earth, etched on the NUS Centre for Quantum Technologies' latest satellite, SpooQY-1, award-winning theatre writer and director Edith Podesta, together with NUS Stage, present this new piece of theatre celebrating the strength of our diversity and a hope for such understanding in a globalised world.
