Synopsis:

Come celebrate our 132nd birthday with us and be transported back to the sights, sounds and smells of an old port city as you reacquaint yourself with the National Museum of Singapore.

An Old New World Marketplace
Date & Time: 11am - 6pm
Venue: National Museum of Singapore, The Canyon, Basement Level and Bus Drop-off Area, Level 2

Drop by our specially-curated marketplace inspired by scenes from old port cities. Indulge in delectable food offerings and bring home antique collectibles, tea and spices!

Drop-in Craft Activity
Date & Time: 10.30am – 12.30pm and 2pm – 5pm
Venue: National Museum of Singapore, Gallery Theatre Foyer, Basement Level

Try your hand at making a cabochon magnet, featuring iconic artefacts from An Old New World!
For visitors of all ages. While stocks last.

A Trader's Voyage
Date & Time: 1pm, 3pm and 5pm
Venue: National Museum of Singapore, Rotunda, Level 1
Admission Fees: Free admission

An interactive live performance that tells the story of a trader's voyage to the East Indies. Join the trader as he begins his expedition from the Rotunda and leads you on a journey to An Old New World.

Weapons of the New World by Caesars
Date & Time: 2pm (45min)
Venue: National Museum of Singapore, The Salon, Level 1
Admission Fees: Free admission

Learn more about European weapons from the 17th to 19th centuries and get up close and personal with exclusive replicas during this hands-on session by Caesars.

NMS 132 Donate & Decorate!
