Synopsis:
Commemorating the 500th anniversary of Leonardo da Vinci's death, this special Film & Talk session will explore the life and achievements of the world's most celebrated artist, discussing his most iconic paintings and exploring his other achievements in science and engineering. The Renaissance Genius died in 1519, leaving behind one of Europe's richest legacies in the many disciplines he mastered.
Featuring a screening of the documentary "Leonardo: From the National Gallery, London" by award-winning producer Phil Grabsky and a pre-show talk with guest speaker and lecturer Dr Sian Jay, will provide an in-depth look into the Masterpieces of the polymath thinker.
