Synopsis:

The INCANDESCENT Art Exhibition presented by Little Artists Art Studio showcases Volume II of a IV-Part INCANDESCENT Art Series at The Substation from 24th-25th August 2019. The Substation was founded in 1990 by Cultural Medallion winner, the late Kuo Pao Kun. It was the first independent arts center in Singapore, known for its pioneering and experimental arts programming.

Little Artists is joining that distinguished history by exhibiting nearly 200 specially selected young emerging artists over two days. Showcasing a multitude of mediums, including paintings, sketches, sculptures, photographs, and digital media artworks, it will be a vast ode to Visual Arts.

Incandescent means – brilliant, bright – a glorious title for rising artists displaying brilliance of expression. Launching these emerging talents at the nexus of cultural and contemporary arts conversations in Singapore - exploring topics ranging from the environment to the future. This series was created to bring a new generation of artist thinkers under 20 into public awareness.
