Synopsis:
Guitarist Andrew Lim first met pianist Ben Paterson in a particularly disappointing jazz jam in New York City six years ago. Looking at each other in the subway, the two strangers shook their heads in lamentation. Both shared a love for jazz that was rooted in the soulful poignancy of the blues and old school swing, which was getting rare even in New York City.
That became the start of a musical friendship that developed during the years Andrew spent in New York, and continues in this one-night-only concert in Singapore. This is part of a three-stop regional tour, and joining them on the drums is Aaron James Lee.
