Synopsis:

Hari Raya refers to a 'day of celebration' in Malay, while Aidilfitri is derived from the Arabic word, 'Eid al-Fitr,' which means the festival of breaking fast.

This exhibition highlights the key features of the festival as well as personal stories from the community. Through these personal stories, shared by individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, "Celebrating Hari Raya: Stories from the Community" tells us about Hari Raya and what it means to those who celebrate it.
