Synopsis:
Get ready because IKEA Singapore's Young Designer Award is back!
We are pleased to announce that the competition is now open for tertiary school students in Singapore and will close on 10 June 2019, 23:59 hours. Students can submit their ideas at ikea.sg/yda.
The theme for 2019 is "Zero Waste Challenge" and participants need to design a product OR service that will inspire or support change behaviour, encouraging the public to reduce waste at home and as a community.
Top 20 teams will be invited to the 18 hours Design Jam on 30 June – 1 July 2019 to develop and pitch their idea to our judges and have a shot at becoming IKEA Singapore's Young Designer 2019.
The top-prize winner will be awarded a $1,500 cash prize and a trip to IKEA Sweden headquarters.
