Synopsis:
King Edward VII HallPlay 18/19 presents to you: Homesick, an Alfian Sa'at play. Homesick is set in 2003 Singapore, when the SARS outbreak forcefully brought the Koh family together, a family which has otherwise been left detached for years. It tackles the ubiquitous issue of immigration, ultimately leaving the audience to ponder the true meaning of belonging, in modern-day Singapore. This play coincides with our theme for HallPlay this year which is Belonging.
Homesick was first performed at the 2006 Singapore Theatre Festival by W!LD RICE.
