Synopsis:

Where are we going in life?
Green light, we go. Red light, we stop.
No U-turn ahead - make a left turn instead.
There are road works. Detour.
We arrive somewhere new. It's scary. Or it's awesome.
And then time catches up, and we realize we can't stay here for the rest of our lives. Or things change, and we're suddenly cruising on a highway, surrounded by everything we've always wanted – except not everyone we love is along for the ride.

In Island Song, five 20- to 30-something characters navigate their lives the same way they navigate the city: sometimes confidently, sometimes hopefully, and sometimes recklessly As the characters wander in and out of each other's lives, whatever happens, the city is always there, the single backdrop against which everything else happens.
