Synopsis:

In spite of today's global complexity, unpredictability and austerity, the Akram Khan Company has become a globally-renowned, and one of the most innovative dance companies in the world. This is no serendipitous fluke, but is the result of a strategic creative partnership between artist and producer.

Join us for this creative session with co-founder and producer of Akram Khan Company: Farooq Chaudhry. He will share about the important role of the producer as a key catalyst in enabling the optimum conditions for both artistic and business development to thrive at Akram Khan Company.

Through notable case studies, this session will provide valuable insights on how to conceive appropriate business, governance and organisational frameworks that will best support artistic ambitions, as well as ignite your problem-solving skills on how to overcome challenges in the areas of arts management and cultural leadership.
