Synopsis:
Flux Dance Competition is Singapore's independent contemporary dance platform for pre-professional dancers in Singapore.
Curated for dancers aged 16 to 25, the competition encourages youths to continue dancing alongside or even after their educational endeavours. Flux Dance Competition hones aspiring professional dancers before they step into the international arena.
We have invited industry professionals from established contemporary dance companies or recognised art institutions in Singapore to assess and critique dance participants, allowing them to leave with not just an experience, but invaluable feedback from our judges. Each participant will receive a copy of the feedback documented by each judge.
Dancers who perform outstandingly will also be recognised through accolades that represent the different aspects of dance. This steers away from the usual award system that ranks dancers on a 1st, 2nd, 3rd place basis.
