Synopsis:

The Pioneer Voices, alumni choir of Pioneer Junior College Choir, presents Journey through Passages of Sacred & Secular. The third concert of the Journey series focuses on music and texts from 2 different genres across the eras — the Sacred and the Secular.

Though these 2 genres seem vastly different on the surface, they share an inextricable connection deep down; and it will be explored in this concert.

The repertoire includes several choral classics — 5 Hebrew Love Songs, Cantique de Jean Racine, Earth song and Salmo 150 to name a few. This concert will also feature 2 violinists and a harpist.
