Synopsis:

In the lead up to the first anniversary of the Kohler Experience Center (KEC), KOHLER, a global leader in the manufacture of kitchen and bath products, organised its first ever Charity Art Jamming session on 28 July 2018 at Goodman Arts Centre.

Reflecting Kohler's commitment in setting new standards in design, craftmanship and innovation, the theme of this year's Art Jamming session was centred around 'Connectivity'. Professional architects and designers from across the country were invited to create masterpieces that will be exclusively sold to partners in the real estate industry, in an effort to support the arts and raise funds for Very Special Arts (VSA) Singapore, the official Charity Partner of Kohler.

VSA Singapore is a charity organization that provides opportunities for the special needs community to be involved in the arts. Through art programmes, workshops, competitions and art exhibitions, VSA Singapore aims to integrate individuals with disabilities into the society and assist them in obtaining financial independence through arts and arts creation.

In support of the VSA Singapore's cause, two artists from VSA Singapore joined the Art Jamming session over the weekend, alongside participating architects and designers. A total of eight art pieces were created, featuring innovative designs with a story behind each and every masterpiece. Prices start from S$3,000 onwards for each art piece.
