An artist talk with artist Kamin Lertchaiprasert and curator Khairuddin Hori, to accompany the launch of an upcoming solo exhibition by Kamin Lertchaiprasert titled " ".
DISINI presents an exhibition that follows on from a series of work called Emptiness which Kamin has been working on over the last three years. The artist states that, "emptiness is not a state of mind, but is the essence of the mind." For Kamin, art is a ritualistic practice aimed at the achievement of a greater understanding of oneself, nature and the world as a whole. This exhibition showcases paintings, sculptures, a video work and works on paper.
