Synopsis:

Driven by a desire to explore the world, a cyclist sets off on a solo journey.

Come along on this grand adventure as we meet characters like Bandit, Sage, Merman, and many others. Ride with us through fantasy and reality, through time, space, and the cyclist's own mind. Cycle on through laughter, danger, despair, and hope...

Written by renowned Indian playwright Vijay Tendulkar, the Marathi-language writer described by Nobel Laureate V. S. Naipaul as "India's best playwright", The Cyclist is a road trip to remember.

This English translation by Balwant Bhaneja is performed by ITI's graduating cohort of actor-students from Singapore, Malaysia and India.

Directed by Noushad Mohamed Kunju (Associate Professor, University of Hyderabad, and a 2005 graduate of ITI)
