Synopsis:

Celebrating the 8th year of music-making since her inception in 2010, EVOKX presents her annual concert series Evocation 2018: The Art of Giving under the direction of Terrence Toh, our founder, conductor, and artistic director. Evocation: The Art of Giving is an annual concert series by EVOKX that seeks to engage youths in community and social work through choral singing and performance. Through this concert series, we take the stage to raise funds and awareness of social and charitable causes in Singapore through our choral performances.

Our beneficiary for this year is the Community Health Assessment Team (CHAT), an outreach arm of the Early Psychosis Intervention Programme (EPIP). CHAT aims to raise awareness of youth mental health concerns and encourage early help-seeking behaviour for mental health concerns among young people through a variety of outreach initiatives.

The Early Psychosis Intervention Programme (EPIP) was initiated in 2001 under the auspices of the Ministry of Health, Singapore. It is part of a national mental health programme that specialises in detection and management of early psychosis. EPIP provides holistic and integrated service through a multi-disciplinary team and interventions using medication, case management, psychotherapy and psycho-social intervention.
