Synopsis:
What lies beyond the surface of a picture?
How does an artist work within the confinements of a canvas and yet stay relevant and new within a world where we are so consumed by digital imageries. In these series of curated works, ten artists' works explore beyond the 'boundaries' of a two-dimensional space within their canvas.
Beyond The Surface presents new works by TAKSU's abstract artists, working with paint, found objects and textured surfaces.
Ten artists are selected to bring you an exhibition, showcasing how grand ideas, concepts and creative expression embarks from surfaces of their works.
