Synopsis:

Just as an artist uses a palette of colours to depict a rich array of scenes and evoke emotions, The NUSChoir will draw from a 'palette' of voices and tones to tell evocative stories in this year's Varsity Voices.

The award winning choir under the direction of Maestro Nelson Kwei will perform God with Iuppiter by Michael Ostryzga and Rivers of Light by Eriks Esenvalds. These fresh dramatic works counterpoint with the tranquil mood of Singaporean composer Zechariah Goh's Zhu Li Guan, which depicts a traveler finding serenity in the heart of a bamboo forest.

With every individual's voice blending together to produce one cohesive sound, Varsity Voices '18: Palette encompasses the variety of tones in the songs that The NUSChoir is performing this year.
