Synopsis:
After a successful 2017 debut, the Jazz @ The Red Dot workshop returns in 2018! Presented by JazzAsia, Jazz @ the Red Dot is a 5-day jazz program that targets both amateur and professional musicians. The program features a stellar faculty of internationally acclaimed jazz musicians from New York including, Rory Stuart (guitar), Aaron Goldberg (Piano), Camila Meza (Vocals), Ben Williams (Bass), Greg Hutchinson (Drums), John Ellis (Saxophone), Jason Palmer (Trumpet).
Whether you're 8 or 80, as long as you can play an instrument or sing, and have a massive love for jazz, you're all set to join us for this enriching workshop! You'll also get to immerse yourself in the local jazz scene with our jam sessions at key jazz hangouts in town and be treated to an all-star performance by the faculty. Not forgetting, the rare opportunity to show all that you've learnt at the graduation showcase at the Singapore Botanic Garden's Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage.
