Synopsis:

On 17 March, the launch of a new sculpture titled The Ground by Thai artist, Kamin Lertchaiprasert, will take place as part of DISINI Festival. An introduction to the artwork by Artistic Director and Curator, Khairuddin Hori, is scheduled for 6.30pm and the artist will be present. It is the latest addition to eight outdoor artworks that formed the first wave of DISINI, inaugurated on 26 January 2018. DISINI is a nine-month-long outdoor visual arts festival consisting of events, exhibitions and engagements with unconventional ideas. It is organized by Chan + Hori Contemporary at Gillman Barracks, in collaboration with the National Arts Council.
