Synopsis:

Join us for the first edition of A Dictionary of Emotions with UK Shyam, Singapore's National record holder for 100m sprint, and Jayden Lim, ex-Singapore Slinger.

Doubt. We all face this in many aspects of our lives. How do we make the best of it and prevent it from stopping us from doing what we want to do? Shyam and Jayden will explore different facets of doubt as they share their experience as former national athletes and the decisions they have had to make in leaving the sports scenes.

How do you change trajectory in life, especially when you've become too comfortable in your career? How do you reshape your doubt into a success story? Join us for conversation you won't want to miss!

This session will be hosted by Kenneth Khoo, former 400m National sprinter.

About A Dictionary of Emotions
Ethos Books' 2018 bookclub will take the form of monthly sessions with featured authors exploring a different emotion and how this emotion is unpacked, understood and reclaimed. In this dictionary of emotions, we hope to create conversation on how do we own and overcome our difficult emotions through writing and reading about them.
