Synopsis:

The purpose of a metronome is to maintain an even tempo so that everything keeps pace. This regularity introduces order and structure but at the same time, enforces conformity, restricting change and introducing monotony.

Led by Fangxi and Koustav in a full length contemporary dance piece, dancers explore the tensions between tempo and order against the larger structure of change and natural order of chaos, to search for answers as to what really restricts us.

This free performance is part of ExxonMobil Campus Concerts, presented by NUS Centre For the Arts.
