Synopsis:
This Christmas learn to create a one of a kind Christmas gift or ornament, similar to a thousand-year-old art seen on windows of churches, mosques and other significant buildings at this workshop with Singapore artist, Danya Yu, at her studio in Goodman Arts Centre.
Stained glass painting is a popular form of art, where the glasses are painted with bright and contrasting colours in a beautiful way.
In this 3 hours long workshop, participants will learn the techniques of painting glasses. Sketching on the glasses with the help of outliners is a part of this training. By learning glass painting, you can apply this technique to decorate glass wares at home or create glass gifts. Participants will surely enjoy this workshop as the trainers will provide the lessons so simply that practising those will be easier for everyone.
Each participant will go home with one glassware and one glass plate.
