Synopsis:
Set against the beautiful leafy backdrop of Portsdown Road are the historical black and white houses and walk up apartments that contain the homes and studios of local and international artists. A leisurely stroll around the estate will take you to 11 studios where will be able to talk to the artists, find out what inspires them and discover more about their creative process.
At this Christmas Edition of the ArtWalk@Wessex, the artists will be exhibiting their artworks including drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics and mixed media - a perfect opportunity to buy artwork directly from the artists just in time for Christmas!
Distinctive signs will be outside each studio making them easy to locate.
ArtWalk@Wessex is free and self guided. Maps will be available at all studios.
Bring water, sunscreen, a hat and an umbrella!
