Synopsis:
Uncanned Art and hôtel vagabond are pleased to present TO BE FAIR, a charity silent auction in support of AWARE and Daughters of Tomorrow. This is the second charity event we have held, the first being Expressions of Hope, with proceeds going to Aashita Foundation, a non-profit organisation for orphaned children in Jaipur, India.
The silent auction, with its focus on gender equality, will feature 23 works from the 10 members in the Uncanned Art cooperative, as well as 2 professional guest artists. On Friday 6 October, guests will be invited to view and bid for the works on show from 19:30. Entry into the event will be free of charge. In the spirit of accessibility, bidding will start at just S$100 in order to make the works affordable and collectable. Bidding will close at 21:00, and the announcement of successful bidders will follow. We are happy to announce that our Guests of Honour are Ong Soh Chin, board member of AWARE, and Carrie Tan, Executive Director of Daughters of Tomorrow.
