Synopsis:

In view of attaining a well-rounded music education, we bring to you the Steinway Lecture Series - a holistic music education program that aims to provide you with a fresh and futuristic perspective towards your musical development. You will discover new ways of understanding music and your connection with it and apply that understanding to your music education and performance.

In this upcoming lecture by Steinway Artist Mr. Benjamin Loh, he will be sharing more about effective competition preparation. Competition preparation requires quite a bit of planning, especially with repertoire, which must suit the student, and which should be delivered in a way that is interesting, artistic, yet conventional and non-controversial.

Two pianists from the Steinway Spirio collection have been chosen based on pianistic control, interpretation and communication:

Steinway Artist Spencer Myer performing Debussy's Cloches à travers les feuilles from Images Book 2; and Steinway Artist Anton Nel performing Mozart's Sonata in C minor, K.457 (first movement).
