    This workshop is for:
    - Participants 16 - 35 years old
    - Youths interested in using the devising process to create new work
    - Playwrights exploring the processes of character and scene development

Synopsis:

A not-to-be-missed opportunity to experience The Necessary Stage's (TNS) unique devising methodology, with main facilitation by Haresh Sharma.

Characters and relationships are key to TNS' signature works – indigenous, intercultural, character-driven and issue-based. The facilitators will share their distinctive creative process, honed through the creation of numerous important works such as Off Centre, Fundamentally Happy and Gemuk Girls. Award-winning actors Siti Khalijah and Dwayne Lau will be making special appearances to share their experiences on devising work.
