Synopsis:

Dedicated to kids aged 2 to 18 years old, Big Eyes, Big Minds International Children's Film Festival showcases high-quality films from around the world to engage kids through passionate storytelling and vibrant filmmaking. Our film selections are thoughtfully curated to provide opportunities for encouraging postive values and critcal thinking.

But more than that, our international film selections provide children with a window to the world, highlighting the shared humanity across cultural boudaries. Through films with youth protagonists, our young audiences can appreciate the perspectives of their peers from other parts of the world and see that all kids value the same things, such as friendship, family support and social acceptance.

The craft of filmmaking inspires us and is increasingly important in our screen-dominated world. Our vision is to help raise media literacy among kids.

We work with schools as well as various institutions to educate, enrich and inspire kids.

Each year, more than 3500 children, parents and educators participate in the film programmes of the Singapore International Children's Film Festival.
